Description

Maracaná is a crossbody bag, ideal for many occasions, designed and manufactured by Miyon.
Its harmony derives from the pure shape of the circle, which becomes a shell. It expresses lightness, simplicity and dynamism at the same time. Maracaná is colour, shape and utmost attention to the smallest details. We produce to order from top quality leathers, using only end-of-production or excess production materials. There is never a single bag that is identical to another, which allows us not to waste material while offering always different colours: each piece is unique and customized.
Actually, both colour, leather type and internal lining will vary over time; this plays a key role in our project, which allows us to recover existing and limited material while stocks last. Every year, tons of leather end up in landfills; for this, our choice (but also our duty) is to use the existing material.
Miyon is sustainable because we manufacture our items in Italy using artisanal methods, but above all locally. We offer top quality existing material (through a recovery or upcycling activity), we praise the creation of unique pieces, craftsmanship and item customization.
Behind each piece there is a story, conceived slowly by our expert craftsmen’s hands.
